News on Cheyenne
Cheyenne had her PowerPoint Presentation on Monday and she did a very impressive job. She picked Tiger Woods as her project and did her own research on the internet and read a book as well. She put together her project and I was able to see her present it. I was so proud of her! She can now help her Daddy out with all the PP presentations he makes for work!
These pics are from the class b-day party on wed. Cheyenne was 1 of 6 kids with b-days this month, there was 1 kid absent. They had chocolate covered strawberries, brownies, and of course I had to make cupcakes!! My favorite part was watching the kids play games after they ate their treat. It took me back to when I was in school. They had to choose between Head's up Seven up or Who's in the closet. Who's in the closet won, I thought for sure it would be easy, but no one guessed the person who was missing.

Doug's Book Report Project
Doug was assigned The story of Tom Tate and had to build a diorama of what he read. Of course I procrastinated and we did his project the nite before it was due. Luckily I had all the supplies at home! He received an A on his assignment. Yea for Doug!

Sam and Mommy
I love this little guy so much. He is starting to walk and is a super fast crawler. He loves food and when he is done he will shake his head no or start throwing it on the floor. Sam pretty much does his own thing unless he's hungry or tired, then he finds me and starts making noises so i'll pick him up. He definitely hates his car seat, but the boys try to make the ride enjoyable for him.

I've been tagged!
A. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning.
B. Each player answers the questions about themselves.
C. At the end of the post, the player then tags 5 people and posts their names and then goes to their blogs and leaves a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and that they should read your blog.
Ten years ago I was recovering from major surgery which was done to take out the Crohn's disease that was taking over my body. Thank goodness for that!
5 Things on my list today....
1. Laundry
2. Clean kid's rooms
3. Vacuum
4. Figure out dinner
5. Go to ACN meeting at 7:30, which freaking rocks! Call me!
Snacks I enjoy....
Well this is hard because I love food, but food does not love me.
I love cake, cookies, sorbets, ice cream sandwiches, fruit, chips. Hey, if it's a snack I'll enjoy it!
What would I do if I were a millionaire....
I'll tell you what I'd do and how I will get there! Because I work with ACN and they rock. I will be creating an income that will let Joe do chiropractic because he feels like it, not because he has to. We will pay off our debt. We will buy some acreage and build our dream home. We will buy all of our parents a home or pay off their house note. We'll fly the whole family up to Idaho for vacation. Everyone will wonder how we did it and I will tell them it was because of ACN and because people will always pay their cell bill, phone bill, internet bill, directTV bill, and soon their electric and gas bill. Man, I am so pumped about this business I can't even see straight!
5 bad habits....
1. Sometimes I doubt my abilities
2. I don't know how to say no
3. I care too much about what people think about me
4. I shop when I'm depressed
5. When things get hard I try to run away from the situation, I hate confrontations!
5 places I have lived
1. South Houston, TX
2. Pasadena, TX
3. Houston, TX
4. Meridian, ID
5. I hope to some day have a villa in Italy!!
5 jobs I have had
1. Teller at Kroger
2. Cashier at Hollywood Theater
3. Lifeguard
4. Swim Coach
5. Server and Bartender at Black-eyed Pea
5 things you don't know about me
1. I hate peas!
2. I want to go to Italy with Joe!
3. I want to take the kids to Disney Land or World!
4. I want to see Andre Boccelli in concert. I'm sure I botched his name!
5. I dream of going to the Olympics! Maybe I'll just have to wait for Doug!
So, let's see who will be tagged...hmmmm.....Lisa Ibarra, Cami Hurst, Teresa McCabe, Dara Rosenburg, and for the final lucky person, drum roll please...................Ginger Blevins!

Friday
Friday we babysat Dr. Strickland's little boy and their dog. Ashton and Abby had fun being silly and I enjoyed a little dog. Joe refuses to get me a little lap dog. I think that's one reason we have so many kids!

Boise Horse Show
We took the kids to a horse show two weekends ago. We originally wanted to just take Ken, but it was free for kids, so we roped up the kids and headed to Boise. When we got there, it felt like we were back home with all the cowboys and cowgirls walking around. Tight wranglers, muddy boots, cowboy hats, and big hair. Man it was great! Everyone enjoyed watching all of the horses. Kenny talked about the horses we would some day have, so we really need to get working on that. Sam loved seeing the horses run and he even petted one. Joe and I did a little dream building and decided we needed 7 horses so when we go camping in the mountains, everyone will have one!

My growing princess
Cheyenne has been growing like a weed, but what's new!
She really enjoys going to Achievement Day with all the girls from church and at their last activity they had some hair stylists in the ward come talk to them and fix their hair. We took some pics of her hairdo.
She has been a lot of help and the source of great debates, but I'm thankful she can think for herself and I know she'll survive out in the world because she is so strong willed.

Joe says Sam is now a true hispanic
Sam had is first jalapeno, tamale, and spanish rice the other day. He loved the rice and tamale but was a bit upset about the jalapeno. The pepper was a mistake, but he finds everything!
He also loves ice cream!! Joe gives me a hard time about the ice cream, but I catch him every once in a while giving him some root beer. There's something about his boys and giving them root beer, the nectar of the Gods.
