California
The 1st weekend of Dec. I traveled to Phoenix to meet up with my sister and mom. We all got in the car and drove to Anaheim, CA for the ACN International Training Event. I had fun driving and decided that I would be a great race car driver after my experience in CA! We met the rest of my team in CA on friday (Liz, Lisa, and Jessica). The men on my team had to stay back due to two babies being born and 1 who was just called to the bishopric for our church. ACN came out with some incredible announcements. We now provide DishNetwork and ADT Home Security. The other services we provide are Wireless(all carriers), DirecTV, Local/Long Home Phone, Internet, and VOiP Video Phone. We had a great weekend and got some much needed motivation. I learned that I'm important and my dreams are important. I have full control of my future and the future of my family. If it's going to be, it's up to me!

Road Trip
We took at road trip with Mom and Dad Hall the last Sunday they were here and now I can't remember where it was. I think we were in Oregon somewhere. The kids of course had their moments of fun and moments of great despair. I was super ready to leave them on the side of the mountain at times, due to whining and fighting, but traffic was low so I don't think anyone would of picked them up. ;) The kids did have a blast with their gramps and grandma. They did some shopping and hunting and got totally spoiled. They loved it. I broke down a bit a couple of days before they left. Even though we've been here in Idaho 2 years, I'm still not used to not having family around. I really loved having Martha teach me how to do some baking and having Ken around so Joe would actually talk. I have the best in-laws in the whole world!

1 week down
Well, the kids are on track break right now and we got off to a rough start. Sam and Cheyenne got pretty sick. Cheyenne ended up getting two shots in her bumm. She was not happy about it. Sam had a horrible cough so we didn't do any of the activities that where planned for the week. We did however squeeze in some school work and Abby learned to read 2 books. Joe came home and suggested I start homeschooling and I just looked at him like he was crazy. Maybe if we had a bigger home where I could designate an area, but we don't and I have zero patience so it's a big fat NO! I had a crippling migraine Sat which put a damper in our date night so that was a bummer. Other than that track break has been okay. The kids are all looking forward to the last week when their Gramps and Grandma Hall come to visit. Kenny has a count down paper he made. I hope all the other track breakers are doing well!

Miss Cheyenne
Cheyenne is getting so big and with that comes the drama of being a girl. We have been dealing with mood swings and let me tell you that is flippin hard! Now it's not all bad she sees all the work I do and will help when not asked and I can't tell how wonderful that is. I was so tired one day and after dinner I had to run a quick errand, I came home to the entire kitchen clean. I just started crying and told her how grateful I was for her. She is so great with Sam and loves to give him a bath and get him dressed. She loves fixing her hair and looks so beautiful when she's done. She is great with other children in the neighborhood and is always willing to help out the moms if they need it. I love my baby girl so much!

Doug's 3rd grade city
Dougie Bug had his big project and of course we waited until the very last minute. This time wasn't as dramatic. We had a fun evening of building his project and this time there was no crying involved. The next day we all went to the school to see their creation. It is so impressive seeing all of the buildings kids(parents) have made. I'm so proud of Doug and all of the hard work he is putting into the 3rd grade!

Trip to Utah and Michigan
So I've been way busy with ACN, I took a trip to Utah and Michigan in Sept. In Utah I went to help open up a business and after, we went to Cabella's to have some Ostrich Sandwiches. I went with Nate and Liz and we sat there in Cabella's talking about our goals and Liz and I decided we would love to give our husband's a huge gift card and tell to have fun at the store. Two weeks later we all went to Detroit and had a weekend of personal growth. I had a blast meeting the co-founders and some of the RVP and SVP's (Regional and Senior Vice Presidents). We even got a chance to cross the border to Canada! I had lunch there with my team. I was so blessed to have my whole team with me in Detroit, it was great to get to know them better and listen to all of their dreams.

I love my Dude!
Sam is so much fun! He is now everywhere and into everything!! He can say thankyou, dada, more, and what sounds like Doug or dog. He loves to wrestle with his brothers and daddy. He is a great hugger and gives the best little kisses. Whenever we put music on he starts to do this really cute dance and puts a smile on all of our faces! I tease Joe about having another baby because Sam is darn cute, that usually keeps him off of me for about a week! ;)

first day of school
School started the day after we got home from TX and I couldn't have been more ready for it! We did all of our school shopping a few hours after we landed and I thought Joe was going to have an anxiety attack from doing so. We finished all the shopping and got home to Joe having fajitas ready to cook for us. It was a great evening.
Wed. the kids were tired but ready to see their friends at school. Abby has half day K, so she was dying because she had to wait forever! Sam and I are enjoying our 3 hours of peace!!

A month in Texas
WOW! So we spent our summer in Texas and had a lot of fun visiting everyone! I would of loved to do some more site seeing with the kids but we'll have to save it for our future trips. Our trip began with my little sisters wedding and it was absolutely beautiful. Cheyenne and Abby had so much fun being in their aunts wedding! Joe was able to spend sometime with his family and he definitely needed that! After we dropped Joe off at the airport we drove up to McKinney, north of Dallas, to visit all of our family there. On our way back from Dallas to Houston we stopped at the Sam Houston Monument and for the first time in my life I got to see the statue up close. It was very neat and the kids thought it was pretty cool. So really we visited family and friends and had a good time doing it.
I missed Joe very much so I'm not sure that I will ever take another trip that long without him! I was an emotional basket case which doesn't work well with me so I'm glad that torture is over!! Thanks to everyone who let us sleep at their homes and for all the sleepovers with the kids. We love and hope to see all of you soon on your new video phones that you are going to get! :) http://christyhall.acnrep.com
They are FREE!

In loving memory of Radar
Sunday July 20, 2008 our dog Radar passed away. We got the news from Joe's hunting buddy, who is watching our dogs while we are in TX. The whole family took it very hard, especially the boys. We will definitely miss him.

Bye Bobby!
Wednesday we took a road trip to SLC, Utah to pick my bro up and take him to the MTC. My friend Liz went with me so I wasn't all alone. Well we were on schedule to pick Bob up at 9a.m. and spend a few hours with him before dropping him off. AT 7 Liz looked down and realized we were completely out of gas. Panic mode hit and we glided to the side and stopped right beside the "Welcome to Utah" sign. Luckily she has OnStar so we called and that just ended up being horrid! Long story short the road side assistance crew definitely needs to hire people who understand english. I ended up flagging down a nice old lady and she went and got us gas. A trucker stopped too to make sure we didn't get hit, so and hour and a half later we were off. Luckily bob called my mom and she explained to situation so he sat there and talked with another missionary who was waiting for a ride. We got him and he looked so handsome and extremely excited! We got him to the MTC right on time and dropped him off. I was a little sad I couldn't spend more time with him, but I was happy to give him one last hug and wish him well. The kids did enjoy talking to him the hour we had him. I did my best not to cry and about broke my jaw in doing so. I do have to say the kids were awesome the whole time. THANK GOODNESS!

Abby's New Do
Abby has been wanting to get her hair cut, not trimmed, for a while. Well you all know Joe and his sickness of long hair! We got a few inches cut, not satisfied, Abby lived with it. A week later we went a little shorter and that just ticked her off. She kept lifting her hair wanting it cut shorter, so she waited for her brothers to get their hair cut and she got back on the chair. Luckily Joe was watching a movie cuz she got the rest chopped off. She stopped crying and whining so I think she is happy with her new do. Of course Joe was not happy, but Abby is and that's what matters! Cheyenne was a bit bothered because Abby is "acting all popular!" because of her new look. I absolutely love it, she's such a cutie!

Kenny's 7th B-day
Kenny's b-day was on June 26. We got him a bike, transformers, and a webkinz. He also got a pkg from Grandma & Grandpa Palfreyman with lots of goodies. The following monday we had his party at the park. He had friends from church and school come. They all had a great time playing at the park. So this birthday was a great ending to the Hall birthday parties for 2008. I want to thank everyone for coming and for all the help with the food. I really couldn't have done it without y'all!

Relaxing by the pool
Almost every morning we go swimming with the Ibarra's in their neighborhood pool. Sam isn't so sure about the water so I sit out with him. He usually walks around, this is just a rare moment of relaxation.

Weekend Fun
Last weekend my mom and Eric flew me to TX for Bobby's farewell and Lety's bridal shower. We had a fun filled day at the beach which was Sam's first time to experience Galveston. I also experienced major burning of the back of my legs, not so much fun. Lety had her bridal shower later on and then we drove to Dallas. Sunday I had the wonderful opportunity to sing with Teresa and Julie while Lety played the piano. All six of us kids were able to be with together one last time before Bob leaves on his mission. It was so great to be with everyone.

Shooting Clays
Saturday we went to Emmett to shoot clays with Joe's hunting buddy. All the kids came and ran all around and took turns releasing the clays discs. I was able to shoot a gun for the first time and it was fun! Now I don't know if I would be able to hunt, but target practice is always fun.

Trip to Dallas
Mother's Day weekend my mom and Eric sent me a ticket to Dallas. Sam and I flew down and had a blast. It was a preview of our summer, which is going to be great. So the original purpose of the trip was for Bobby, he was going through the Temple in preparation for his mission. I was informed by Bobby that Mom and Eric were going to be sealed for Time and All Eternity too! I was soooo excited for my mom, such a huge blessing.
I got to see Teresa and Jason with their cute family, Julie and Andrew and their new baby, and Lety came over from AZ. These trips to TX are great and I'm so thankful for them.
Nick and Jenn came over and we played pictionary, I love you guys! I also got to see my BFF Chauntel and her super awesome family, I love y'all too!!!! I can't wait until this summer.
love ya!

Shoshone Falls
Sunday morning we woke up at 5:30 and drove 2 hours to Twin Falls. Joe had found some falls there that are taller than Niagra. We got there and drove by the new Temple being built and then off we went to Shoshone Falls. Now it wasn't at full capacity but it was still amazing. We all enjoyed 2 hours of site seeing and then we headed back so Doug could be welcomed as one of the newest members of the church.

Abby Cadabby
Abby decided the other day her new name would be Abby Cadabby. If she remembers she changed her name she will remind you. She also had her birthday this month and we got frequent reminders. We took her plus the kids to Apple Bee's on her b-day and then to Crispy Creme. Saturday after Doug's baptism we had her party at the park. We had a lot of people there which I loved because it reminded me of our big parties we used to have back home. There are a lot of us with families in other states, so we've become each others adopted families, it's great!
So Abby is the big 5 now and is very excited about being in kindergarten this coming school year. I'm excited too! Sam and I will chill while she is being educated.
